SPECIAL FX LTD EVENT TERMS AND CONDITIONS
ALL players attending Special FX LTD events are required to read and understand the terms and conditions set out for events run by Special FX LTD.
The terms and conditions are for your safety and the safety of others.
Failure to comply with the terms and conditions may result in your attendance being canceled with no refund provided. This may also result in individuals and or groups not being eligible to attend future events run by Special FX LTD.
TICKET POLICY
1. Tickets are not refundable

Event: Operation Armoured Fury 3 2025
Helicopter portion of ticket will be refunded to individuals if helicopter is unable to fly on the day of the event minus administration fees.
EVENT POSTPONEMENT/CANCELATION
Events produced by Special FX LTD are all weather events and will not be canceled unless the following occurs.
1. Natural disaster
A natural event such as a flood, earthquake, hurricane or fire that causes great damage or loss of life.
If a natural disaster was to occur then the following steps will take place:
1. Event will be postponed and new date given.
2. If location is not suitable then new location will be provided along with the new date.
If event is unable to take place within a reasonable time frame then refunds minus administration costs will be provided.
AGE RESTRICTIONS - Operation Armoured Fury 3 2025
Minimum age to attend OPAF 3 is 14 years old.
All players aged between 14yrs - 16yrs must be accompanied by a paid parent that is also attending the event.
parents are solely responsible for their child at all times and are not the responsibility of Special FX LTD, staff, volunteer's, partners or contractors.
Selected ticket options are restricted to 18 years and over. Any player 18 years and under are not permitted to purchase these tickets.

Safety Terms
In the activity(ies) that you are about to undertake, there is an element of risk involved. These risks relate to Heli Fishing, Heli Assist Hunting, locating to and from Hunting and Fishing areas, and other helicopter related activities, which may result in personal property damage or loss, serious or fatal injuries.
The staff and management of Mid West Helicopters (NZ) Ltd (and associated companies) take all practicable steps to identify and minimise potential dangers. However, you must follow our instructions and use any safety equipment provided when required. Adults accompanying any person under the age of 18 must ensure that the underage person follows our instructions at all times.
You must release or indemnify Mid West Helicopters (NZ) Ltd (and associated companies) and our staff against any liability we incur to anyone else, resulting from your failure to follow our instructions or the failure of any person accompanying you under the age of 18 to follow our instructions.
We reserve the right to withdraw any person who in our opinion is likely to endanger themselves or others. We also reserve the right to cancel the activity you are about to undertake if we become concerned for any reason for your safety or that of any other person.
WARNING: Under New Zealand law it is extremely unlikely that you will be able to sue anyone if you are injured. In addition, New Zealand's accident compensation scheme provides only limited assistance to visitors to New Zealand who are injured. We strongly recommend that all individuals have full insurance covering any injury they might suffer, including medical treatment cover, before undertaking this activity.
EXCLUSIONS: To the extent permitted by law, all our liability for damage to your property, disruption to travel plans, or mental injury is excluded. This exclusion is subject to any rights or remedies you may have under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993.
Please list on the form provided by Special FX LTD any medical conditions or other information we need to know to include you safely in this activity. For example: asthma, allergies, heart conditions, epilepsy or pregnancy. You are entitled to access any information we hold about you or to request its correction at any time.
I/we acknowledge that I/we have received a SAFETY BRIEFING and have read and understood the above safety terms.
RELEASE OF LIABILITY
In the CONSIDERATION of being permitted to participate in ANY way in the sport and or activities of Airsoft or Softair with regards to ANY game or event hosted by or with the approval of Special FX LTD, I acknowledge, appreciate and agree that:
1. Airsoft involves risks and acknowledge I enter/participate at my own risk. Such risks include the risk of catastrophic injury, paralysis, blindness and even death as well as other damages associated with airsoft equipment.
2. I agree to follow the instructions of all game Marshalls and/or designated safety officers.
3. I understand that it is compulsory to attend ALL pre-game safety briefing.
4. I hereby consent to receive medical treatment in the event of injury, accident and/or illness
during the event.
5. I have advised a game marshal of Special FX LTD of any medical conditions that may require immediate medical attention or affect medical treatment.
6. I will not hold the club, organisers, officers, officials and/or any person involved with the
event liable for any loss or injury to person or equipment.
7. I agree to take responsibility for my own actions and will not take legal proceedings
(whether by myself, or by my executors, administrators, heirs, next of kin and/or successors)for any matter against the following person(s) or entities, Airsoft New Zealand, Any Club Affiliated with Airsoft New Zealand, Any person Affiliated with Airsoft New Zealand, Land managers and/or Owners, event organisers, volunteers, all cities, towns, regions, districts, properties and/or other areas in which the event may be staged, and their (its) representatives, respective officers, directors, employees, independent contractors, representatives, agents and volunteers.
8. I realise I may be pulled from the event if I am not abiding by these rules.
9. I am over 18 years of age or I have the consent of my parent or guardian.
10. I understand that I must wear Safety gear as prescribed in the safety guidelines.
11. I understand that I am to follow the Rules and Regulations as laid out by Special FX LTD
12. I agree to abide by and follow the Arms Act 1983 with relation to Airguns.
13. I grant permission for any photographs or movies taken at all Special FX LTD events. To be used for promotional purposes. I agree to allow Special FX LTD to crop or treat the photograph at its discretion so long as it is not used in an offensive or derogatory way. I acknowledge that Special FX LTD may not use the image at this time but may do so at a later date. I also acknowledge that once posted on the World Wide Web that the image may be downloaded by any computer user.
I understand and agree that this RELEASE OF LIABILITY AGREEMENT covers each and every airsoft activity or event SPONSORED or HOSTED BY SPECIAL FX LTD in which I participate hereafter.
I have read this document and fully understand and comprehend it, I have asked any questions on areas of it and Airsoft that we are unclear on.
Upon SUBMITTING my form, I do so freely and voluntarily without any duress.
