WELCOME TO THE NEXT CHAPTER IN COMPETITIVE AIRSOFT
GET READY FOR THE NEW ZEALAND AIRSOFT LEAGUE
NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP
Presented By Special FX Productions & Powered By Skirmesh
This competition is the first of its kind and as such we welcome you to come and experience this action packed national league and be part of the future of large scale competitive Airsoft.
.
What is the NZAL National Championship?
Multi-Round League
Points Based Championship
Two Day Event Per Round
Most Advanced Electronic Points Scoring System
Large Scale Fields
Large Competing Player Base
Conquest Style Game Mode
Squad based Championship
The NZAL is set to provide outdoor airsoft with the first legitimate large scale annual multi-round competitive team championship where players compete using the interactive Skirmesh electronic points scoring system in a conquest style game format.
.
Yes this is the first multi-round Airsoft championship series in New Zealand
.
Players will form two large teams that will go head to head to dominate the map and collect the most points at each round of the championship.
Within these two teams will be the NZAL Championship Squads that will fight it out with other competing squads to gain the most points over the large scale long duration game format.
The squad that is at the top of the leaderboard by the series end will be crowned the
New Zealand Airsoft League National Champions.
BUT THATS NOT ALL
The Disruptor Player
The NZAL recognises that players can't always commit to major Airsoft events or don't want to play at a competitive level and they should not be excluded.
The structure that we have created along with the new technology has allowed us to create an opportunity for the “casual player” to still get their Airsoft fix by introducing the "Disruptor" player.
The Disruptor option provides casual non-competing players with the opportunity to still play as individuals along side competing championship squads. Disruptor players still have the ability to help their team collect points and hamper the opposing teams ability to capture points but on their terms and at their own pace.
These players will utilise the Skirmesh system but points will only show as overall team points and will not go towards championship squad points.
We believe that we have now created an event where both competing players and casual players can play side by side seamlessly without compromising the quality of the game play and the event.
.
Multi-Round League
The NZAL is set to host each round of the Nation Championship at different venues around the country.
.
Points Based Championship
Utilising the latest electronic technology, players and squads will earn points during each round, that will then go towards the individual round results and overall championship points.
.
Two Day Event Per Round
Each round of the League is made up of 2 days.
Day one covers registration and a practice day.
Day two is competition day followed by a prize giving.
.
Most Advanced Electronic Points Scoring System
We have utilised the most advanced points scoring technology available for large scale outdoor Airsoft. The Skirmesh system uses individual wireless devices that are positioned throughout the Airsoft field.
All you need is a Skirmesh wristband
players interact with the devices using a special Skirmesh wristband to complete objectives and earn points. This information is logged on the Skirmesh system in real time so you can see your progress at any moment. At games end, the total points earned are then totalled and displayed on the Skirmesh website, we then use those points to see the rankings for each team, squads, and individual players.
.
Live Action Map
Every player will also have the ability to access the Skirmesh LIVE Tactical Map. This interactive map shows players the current status of the game in real-time so you can make critical decisions as to how you, your squad, and your team can make tactical decisions based on how the game is progressing.
No app required as it is accessed through the Skirmesh website.
.
“This unique feature is a game changer”
.
The tactical map also has a “team chat” function so you can send and receive messages within your team.
.
Large Scale Fields
The Skirmesh system now gives us the ability to take a familiar game mode that is widely used in outdoor Airsoft gaming but do it at scale using large Airsoft fields.
.
Large Competing Player Base
The Skirmesh system can accomodate hundreds of players interacting with the system in one game so this league can go big.
.
Conquest Style Game Mode
The NZAL is utilising a game mode that is widely understood and also provides an excellent base for large scale competition Airsoft.
However don’t think that these competitions will be basic, as there is the ability for the individual players to operate in a more complex and tactical manor then a player that has less experience.
The customised parameters of the system will also encourage squads to work together to dominate areas quicker and maximise points earned.
.
Squad based Championship
Each event will split players into two large teams that will go head to head to capture the most zones. Within each team will be the NZAL Championship Squads and also the Disruptor players.
squads will be evenly split between teams with Disruptor players balancing out the team numbers.
the NZAL Championship Players will compete to earn the most points possible in the pursuit of being at the top of the leaderboard by the end of each round of the League.
The NZAL Championship Squad that has earned the highest amount of points when totalling all rounds of the series points available to them, will earn the title of NZAL National Champions.
